ABC's of Health, Inc. is a South Carolina Corporation, established
in 1986 by Lonnie Willoughby, Jr., as founder and president. Lonnie Willoughby and the corporation were also an Independent Representative of Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (Ada, Oklahoma) for more than 20 years,
The company has changed ownership and is now known as Legal Shield, and Lon still works as with the new company.
Our Natural Healthcare and Wellness products store was located in Greenville County for 15 years. Our last store location was at 437 North Main Street in Mauldin, South Carolina (adjacent to Greenville, SC) from January 4, 2010 until April 24, 2014 (when Lon and Janie Willoughby closed the store facility permanently).
They closed our natural healthcare and wellness products facility because local competition from big businesses (Costco, Earth Fare, Sam's Club, Vitamin Shoppe, Walmart, Whole Foods, grocery store chains, pharmacy store chains) and crushing Internet sales
competition (Amazon and many other Internet competitors) made it impossible for ABC of Health to make any profit monthly in our
operation for several years in a row, and that situation was getting
worse as each year went by.
ABC of Health could not afford to stay in
business because we were losing thousands of dollars per month due to
operating expenses continuing to exceed profits from our diminishing
monthly sales.
Closing
the health products store permanently enabled Lon and Janie Willoughby to focus their work time toward developing very important advanced level natural healthcare and wellness concepts education services.
